Six months of waiting paid off!!! Ripped this package open as soon as it arrived and devoured this cookbook. This Tennessee girl can not wait to dig in to these recipes. My daughter asked me just the other day if we could make cornbread salad, and I told that we can’t on keto. WRONG! There’s a recipe for cornbread salad in this book!! Already made the sloppy joe’s—super easy! I love them and my kids love them! I can’t wait to work my way through this book. I’m thinking the lemon poppyseed bread will be next…that would be perfect for brunch on Black Friday!! Do *not* wait. Get this cookbook ASAP!! Thank you, Tasha, for making it so much easier to eat the food that I grew up eating!!!

First things first, I don’t cook. Hubby cooks. When I met him over a decade ago my freezer was full of Lean Cuisine’s. I am late 40’s and wanted some help losing a few pounds. Thought Keto might be good to try since my food love revolves around carbs. I knew I would need to convince him this food would be good, which meant I needed to get in the kitchen!I made the Cowboy Skillet, I added cheese on top because I really hate eggs, was AMAZING! Made it again and added jalepenos to my previous edit, AMAZING! Hubby said it was the most delicious breakfast he’s ever had, BOTH times.I also made the Gumbo. OMG! We’ve had it 3 nights in a row and loved it each time. The cauliflower rice is good with it! I had also made a double batch of biscuits, I of course added the shredded cheese and herbs. Amazing! Great as a snack and with the gumbo! My hubby already said he can’t wait until I make the gumbo again!I bought 6 Keto cookbooks and I have used this one 90% of the time since deciding to try Keto. Already down 5 pounds and feel great! Others I know have since ordered this book and LOVE the recipes and layout. I also love the layout, really easy to use!

I love that Natasha has made so many of my childhood favorites Keto-friendly! The drop biscuits were the first thing I made and they were a huge hit with me and my college-aged kids. I cannot wait to make the Salmon Patties, Skillet Cornbread, and so many, many more of her recipes. I also love Natasha’s honesty about her journey into this balanced lifestyle and all of her tips she shared in this book. I highly recommend adding this to your collection.

This is my new favorite cookbook of all time. I’ve been keto for a year and a half. I’m down 65 lbs and loving this way of eating. I miss southern food, so I decided to give this a try. Every recipe has been amazing. My favorite so far is the chocolate chip peanut butter bars. Today we made the cornbread and taco soup, which are great together. I’ve made the deviled eggs and several other recipes. Every single recipe is awesome and easy to make. This is my number one keto cookbook recommendation to anyone who asks me about keto.

My husband and I are fairly new to Keto (4-5 months) and previously ate food that tasted great, but was horrible for us. Since we started, he’s lost 60lbs, and is no longer diabetic, I’ve lost 30lbs, and am no longer hypoglycemic. But finding recipes to make this way of life sustainable has been a must. Enter Southern Keto…I love this cookbook! I enjoyed Natasha’s story, I appreciate her encouragement & positivity. The pictures are beautiful, the recipe instructions are easy to follow, and the food is delicious!I’ve made 5 or 6 recipes so far, and my husband and I have really enjoyed them all.I will mention that most of what I’ve made or seen requires quite a lot of dairy, so if you’re trying to avoid that, this book may not be for you.I’m blown away at the texture, consistency, & moistness of the drop biscuits! You’d never know they weren’t made with “normal” white flour.Pictures attached include:Chili Cheese Pot Pie (which have the basic Drop Biscuit recipe on top)Loaded Fauxtato Soup (tastes just like Saltgrass’ baked potato soup!!)Ground Beef Stroganoff over caulimash, (mushrooms omitted, simply because we don’t care for them. Still tasted great!)Drop Biscuits (alternate recipe with cheddar & dried chives)Not pictured:Zucchini Bread – I didn’t have oat fiber & tried to sub with psyllium husk & the texture/consistency was waaaaayyyy off, but it still tasted good, so it didn’t go to waste! I will definitely make it again, with the proper ingredients & I’m positive it will be delicious & have the right, bread-like consistency.

First recipe-Creamy Broccoli and ground beef casserole was so rich and delicious. Total comfort food. Can’t wait to make more recipes this week. If you like to eat Real food that’s delicious and good for you, you need this book in your life!

Y’all! Seriously! Definitely a must buy! I just got this book in this afternoon and made 3 of the recipes already. They were all amazing. The lay out of this book was easy to follow, with nutrition facts on each recipe. Beautiful artwork, stories with each recipe, and easy to find ingredients. I am the type who is drawn to quick, easy, tasty food. This makes cooking keto enjoyable. I even had most of these ingredients in my cabinet. Starting out on keto, but worried about missing out on your favorites? Order this book and get in the kitchen.

Best down home Keto food cookbook there is. I am not one to buy cookbooks, I like to wing it, but these recipes are well thought out and fall within the typica ketogenic diet plan. Not only do the Keto eaters in my household love the recipes like biscuits and gravy, but my non Keto eaters in the house love them too. Simple traditional meals that I can customize how I see fit. Wonderful introduction and story behind the cookbook. I purchased this book for multiple friends both just starting their low carb eating and those who are seasoned low carb eaters.

My husband and I love to cook. I’ll be honest…we’re not Keto. However, these are great mouthwatering, southern recipes even if you’re not Keto. The organization of this book is amazing! There is so much detail. Need to whip something up in 30 minutes or less? There’s a chart for it. Need a recipe free of nuts, eggs and/or dairy? It’s marked with icons. And who doesn’t love a good sample menu for a special occasion? Her story is compelling and real. She shares insightful tips on how to stay on track, which is great advice for anyone really (again not just to those who are Keto). I haven’t purchased a cookbook in a long time, but I’m so happy I have this one. We’re excited to try some of the recipes in the coming weeks!

Natasha has done a great job bringing Southern Keto cooking to my kitchen!I was not raised in the South, but have lived here almost half of my life. My husband was raised in the South. We both adopted the Keto lifestyle over a year ago. We have had much success with the Keto lifestyle, but were in need of an easy to follow Keto cookbook with foods we were familiar with and simple to make. THANK YOU, TASHA! This is the second Keto cookbook I have added to my kitchen. My the first book by another author is very good, but not quite as user friendly. Thank you for keeping it simple. And GOOD!! In the first few pages, Tasha shares her life story and struggles with food, weight and health. She has practical tips and simple menus. The layout of the book and photos are well done and inviting. The back of the book has helpful resources.Baking in the Keto lifestyle can be challenging, so I stated in the baking section. We have enjoyed the Drop Biscuits (yes, add the cheddar cheese, awesome!), Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars (de-lish!) and my most recent favorite… Keto Cheesecake with Pecan Almond Crust!! Ok, I said I was raised up North. I KNOW good cheesecake! This cheesecake recipe beats ANY cheesecake recipe I have ever tried… and it is Keto!! I was more than thrilled with the cheesecake and will be baking another one for Christmas Dinner. Oh, and the Grain-free Granola, very good! I took the Butter Roasted Turkey and made a Butter Roasted Chicken. Simple and delicious. After I purchased MY cookbook, I recently purchased two more cookbooks and was going to give them as Christmas gifts. My visiting cousin, who is vegetarian and gluten free, loved the recipes we tried together so much, that she took one of my gift books home with her!! You will not be disappointed.Happy Southern Keto Cooking, y’all!!
